Antique side table in pine wood, from Central Europe. Originates from early 20th century rural European domestic furniture, built in solid pine for simple daily use. Tables of this type served as a support next to the bed or the entrance, making use of the front drawer to store small items. The rectangular top rests on four straight legs tapering toward the base, joined by a lower stretcher that braces the structure. The wood retains the golden patina typical of aged pine, with wear marks and minor stains consistent with its age. In a rustic bedroom or entryway, it works as a night table or side table, bringing the functional simplicity of period European furniture.
