Product description
Very beautiful antique set in clear mouth-blown and hand-cut crystal, attributed to Moser, Bohemia, circa 1880-1910. It includes 6 wine glasses and 2 matching champagne coupes. Beautiful flared tulip shape, with wide cut ribs with rounded ends, a six-sided faceted stem, and a circular foot. Fine but dense crystal, very resonant, showing slight irregularities, small bubbles, and size differences characteristic of old artisanal manufacturing. The work strongly evokes the old productions of the Moser crystal factory, although without a signature allowing for formal attribution.
Wine glasses: approximately 14.5 to 15cm in height, 8.8 to 8.9cm max diameter. Champagne coupes: 13.5cm in height, 9.5cm max diameter. Very good general condition, there is a micro-chip on the rim of one glass and another on the rim of a coupe (less than one millimeter), some very fine, very discreet scratches from use, one of which is slightly more pronounced on one glass, as well as some small manufacturing defects, notably bubbles and irregularities on some rims and feet. Small cutting marks are also visible at the base of the stems, above the foot, discreet. Approximately 160 to 170gr per piece, or about 1.3kg for the set.
