Measuring 29.5 x 24 cm, it is a substantial, high-quality panel. Technical Analysis & Expertise Iconography: Central to the icon is the Holy Virgin Mary with the Christ Child in her arms. The refined assist (gold highlighting) on the garments is applied with extreme detail, indicative of a skilled master from a Russian painting center.
