Magnificent restored antique solid wood wardrobe.
This provincial wardrobe, likely dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, is captivating with its elegant lines; a harmonious blend of delicate moldings and geometric friezes.
This piece was acquired from an antique dealer in the 1970s in Charleville-Mézières to furnish a home in southern Belgium.
The wardrobe has been meticulously cleaned, sanded, and stripped of its numerous layers of wax. It has also been fully treated against wood-boring insects.
The exterior has been refinished in a deep shade, somewhere between aubergine and plum depending on the light, and then protected with a colorless wax for a lasting finish.
The interior has been protected with a wax cream suitable for everyday use.
A hanging rail and two shelves provide storage for clothing or linens. The armoire can also be customized to suit your needs (interior fittings available upon request).
This armoire will find its place in a bedroom, entryway, living room, or spacious kitchen and will become the centerpiece of your interior.
