Product description
Antique side table in pine wood, from Central Europe, with angled legs. Originates from the tradition of rural European domestic furniture of the early 20th century, where pine was worked into solid, functional pieces.
This type of low support was used in the kitchen or stable to hold jugs, baskets, or tools close to the floor.
The rectangular, rounded-corner top rests on four short block legs, cut at an angle and joined directly beneath the corners.
The wood shows even wear, with dark stains and small losses along the edges, the result of continued contact with the floor and domestic use.
In a rustic or minimalist interior, it works as a side table or decorative riser, bringing the sober volume of a Central European farmhouse piece.
