Product description
Antique refectory dining table in pine wood, from Central Europe. Originates from early 20th century rustic dining furniture, designed to seat numerous diners.
Tables of this type furnished refectories and communal dining halls, where the sturdiness of the T-shaped structure allowed for intensive, prolonged use.
The single-piece rectangular top rests on two T-shaped legs joined by a through stretcher, assembled with exposed wooden pegs.
The wood retains the natural golden tone of pine with the wear typical of decades of use, visible on the surface of the top.
In a spacious dining room or a rustic-style kitchen, it brings the presence and nobility of the traditional refectory table.
