Spiritual Unity: Antique Pair of Thai Buddhas This rare pair of bronze Buddha statues is a beautiful example of the Rattanakosin style from the early 20th century (circa 1900). Both statues are depicted in the Bhumisparsha mudra, the pose in which the Buddha calls the earth to witness his enlightenment. The fact that these statues have been preserved as a pair suggests that they originally stood side by side on a private altar. Technical Audit by 1stbuddha At we look beyond the surface.
