This antique English corner cabinet, crafted around 1800, is a beautiful example of classic craftsmanship. The piece is made of solid oak and is characterized by subtle mahogany accents adorning the panel doors.
The cabinet has a height of 105 cm, a width of 82 cm, and a depth of 58 cm. Originally designed as a wall cabinet, the legs were skillfully added at a later period. The interior features decoratively carved shelves painted in a contrasting green hue, adding a surprising element to the traditional brown exterior. The original purchase invoice from Isphording Antiek is present, contributing to the provenance and authenticity of the piece.
The furniture is in good condition befitting its age of over two centuries. The oak displays a rich patina and the construction is solid. The historical addition of the legs is neatly executed and contributes to the unique character of the cabinet.
