Product description
This antique oak blanket chest is a classic piece of storage furniture with a rich appearance. The design stands out with detailed wood carvings featuring diamond patterns on the front panels and a robust form that immediately adds character to a space. The chest is entirely made of solid wood in a deep brown hue, finished with authentic iron handles on the sides. The furniture features a hinged lid that provides access to a spacious interior, including a handy small side compartment for smaller items. The original keyhole and accompanying key emphasize the historical value and craftsmanship of this piece. The chest is in good condition with a charming patina that reflects its age and previous use. This piece of furniture is perfectly suited at the foot of a bed in a rustic bedroom or as a striking coffee table in a rustic living room. It not only offers ample storage space but also brings a piece of history into contemporary interiors.
