Rare set of three small decorative or dessert plates from the mid/late 19th century, decorated with Christmas themes featuring winter colors and symbols (a man resembling an elf or Santa Claus, a wood-burning stove, and gilded floral motifs on a red and blue background). Signed *Dresden and stamped Meissen in the clay.
Possibly from the Royal Meissen Manufactory or painted by a local workshop on white porcelain from the manufactory…to be confirmed.
Two are in very good condition, and one has a repaired crack.
