Elegant antique Louis XV style commode featuring a graceful bombe shape and a richly veined marble top. The cabinet is crafted with beautiful wood veneer and finished with finely detailed gilt bronze mounts that highlight the curves of the piece. The commode stands on elegant cabriole legs and is decorated with elaborate bronze ornaments on the corners, drawers and apron. The sculptural corner mounts and ornate Rococo-style drawer handles give the piece a strong decorative character typical of classic French furniture. It offers three spacious drawers with original bronze handles and key escutcheons. The warm wood tones and subtle veneer pattern contrast beautifully with the natural marble top.
