Exceptional Longwy match holder from France, manufactured circa 1900–1920 by the famous Faïencerie de Longwy. The ceramic holder has an elegant, constricted shape and is richly decorated with colorful blossom branches, flowers, and leaves against a bright blue background. Furthermore, the underside features authentic impressed factory markings, including LONGWY, 120, and 60. A rare and decorative utensil from the French Art Nouveau period.
