Two didactic (male and female) botanical models of the Scots pine (Pinus silvestris) by Brendel. These are rare 12x and 50x enlarged models of the male and female sexes. These models are offered for sale on very rare occasions. In the late 19th century, Brendel (Robert and son Reinhold) produced a series of enlarged models that were purchased by numerous universities precisely because they were so detailed and complete. Made of wood, papier-mâché, and plaster. Height: 26 cm. Width: 25 cm. Support diameter: 16 cm. Comes with a matching linen school chart between two sticks. Can be rolled up.
