Antique Korean Soban table, dating from the late 19th century. This unique Soban table dates from the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897/1910) in Korea. These types of furniture were designed for one person, and were used for dining. The top is made of a single piece of zelkova wood, and the base is likely maple. It is decorated with carvings all around, and the underside of the top is marked but indistinctly. There are some signs of wear and tear from use.
