Product description
This is an antique, hand-woven Caucasian Kelim rug, an authentic piece with a rich history. The rug immediately stands out with its vibrant, geometric patterns and warm, earthy color palette, characteristic of the weaving traditions from the Caucasus region. The rug is expertly crafted from wool using the traditional flat-weave technique. The dimensions are approximately 350 cm by 550 cm. The color combination of deep red, blue, black, and beige creates a dynamic yet harmonious whole. The symmetrical and tribal motifs give the rug a unique and expressive character. The overall condition is good, in accordance with the age of the rug. It has a beautiful patina that tells the story of its past and contributes to its charm. This type of characteristic wear is what makes an antique piece so special. This Kelim rug is a wonderful addition to various interior styles, from bohemian and eclectic to a modern interior where it can serve as a warm and colorful accent. It is a perfect base for a seating area or under a dining table.
