Antique handmade earthenware half-glazed stew pot, 1850 possibly older, red clay with upright handles.
Was used for cooking over an open fire, the only heat source in working-class families at that time.
Also found in cultural heritage museums.
Looks lovely as a historical decorative object, even with plants; you can cook with it too, of course...
