Product description
Antique hand-painted ceramic pitcher with handle in the well-known Rhodian decor. Made in the years 1910-1920 by Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (PZH) from Gouda. Model 662 is a pitcher, jug, or spouted vase. This model has a bulbous or egg-shaped belly, a slender neck, an elegant handle, and a clear spout. The combination of this specific, early pitcher with the matte, oriental Rhodian decor makes it a sought-after and characteristic collector's item for lovers of Gouda pottery. The pitcher is 19cm high and the condition is excellent.
