A characterful antique bench crafted from solid oak, combining richly detailed carving with practical concealed storage. Its high back, sculptural armrests and warm brown tones give the piece a strong presence, making it an attractive addition to an entrance hall, living room or landing. The backrest features three individually framed relief panels depicting traditional scenes with figures in domestic and outdoor settings. Carved foliage runs along the surrounding framework, while decorative finials complete the upper corners. Sculpted lions form the armrests, lending the bench its distinctive character. The craftsmanship continues across the chest-like base, where scrolling foliage surrounds expressive carved faces. Decorated corner supports and an ornate lower border complete the design.
