Offered for Sale: A very beautiful and richly decorated hall lantern in Louis XV / Rococo style.
The lamp features a particularly beautifully detailed metal frame with elegant Rocaile ornaments, decorated stiles, and a beautiful ornate chain. Surrounding it is clear cylindrical glass with beautiful cut star and ray motifs. As a result, the light shines through the glass in a very atmospheric way.
The lamp has 3 light points with E14 sockets.
The dimensions are:
Height of lamp without chain 41 cm
Total height with chain 65 cm
Diameter 24 cm
Weight 2580 grams
Considering its age, the lamp is in beautiful and decorative condition.
The glass and ornaments give the lamp a characteristic appearance.
The electrical sockets have been modified/renewed over time. Based on style and execution, the lamp is estimated to be from circa 1900-1930, possibly of French or Belgian manufacture.
No distinct factory mark or signature has been found; therefore, I am selling it as a lamp in French/Belgian style, and not as a specifically attributed make.
