Product description
Antique jug in glazed ceramic, from Central Europe. It is a piece of folk pottery from the early 20th century.
Glazed ceramic jugs were used in homes across Central Europe to store and serve water, wine or milk.
It has a single handle and is glazed in ochre yellow. A floral band painted in blue and green runs around the body, and dark rings mark the lower part.
The yellow glaze keeps a soft sheen, with light signs of use.
In a rustic kitchen or on a sideboard, it serves for water or as a vase.
