Antique garden table in iron, from France, in an industrial style. Originates from the tradition of French outdoor furniture of the early 20th century, when riveted iron was used for sturdy pieces meant for continued garden use. This type of table was placed on patios or in gardens, serving as a support for outdoor tasks or drinks service. The rectangular, rounded-corner top rests on a tubular structure of straight legs joined by a horizontal stretcher, assembled with visible rivets. The surface shows widespread surface rust over the iron sheet, alongside traces of the original mustard-yellow paint on the frame, the natural result of decades of outdoor exposure.
