Rare antique French Sacred Heart devotional object dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, circa 1880–1910.
The piece features a red textile Sacred Heart surrounded by finely worked gilt metallic decoration, mounted under original domed glass in an oval brass frame.
The black background creates a strong contrast with the red heart and gold ornamentation, giving the piece a rich and highly decorative appearance.
The original hanging ring is present.
