This antique French faience wall plate, crafted around 1900, is a striking example of traditional European ceramics. The handled plate is decorated with a detailed coat of arms of Mont Saint-Michel, flanked by two lions, giving the piece a historical and noble character.
The plate is made of ceramic and finished with a colorful, hand-painted glaze in shades of blue, yellow, green, and orange on a cream-colored background. The scalloped rim and integrated handles emphasize the artisanal design. On the reverse side, the plate is marked 'Mont-Saint-Michel 1454', referring to the historical context of the image.
