ProfessionalProduct description
A framed drawing by Naitz from 1934, depicting two children and a teddy bear. The drawing is made with pencil and color accents on paper and shows a scene with a mirror. Slight signs of use are visible, including discoloration and stains on the paper. The wooden frame is included.
A charming French humorous illustration from 1937, depicting a young boy helping a girl adjust her dress while she admires herself in a mirror. The playful scene is accompanied by the handwritten French caption:
"Les hommes, c'est tout de même bon à quelque chose!..."
("Men are good for something after all!")
The artwork is signed Walter and dated 1937, executed in ink and watercolor on paper. Soft colors, expressive lines, and the witty composition make this a beautiful example of early 20th-century French illustrations.
Presented in a simple wooden frame, this original artwork is an attractive decorative piece for collectors of vintage illustrations, French artworks, or humorous antique prints.
Age-related wear, stains, and discolorations are present, consistent with its age and contributing to its authentic character.
Size: 56 x 2 x 71cm
