Antique English lead flower boxes, dating from the 18th century. Set of 2 beautiful lead flower boxes converted into fountains, for example for use in a toilet. The relief with the hanging floral garlands is inspired by the French Louis XVI style. However, casting this type of round, heavy lead planters was a typically English specialty. Both feature a stainless steel inner container and a section for attaching the swan neck. Over the centuries, they have acquired a beautiful patina and weigh 12.8 and 14.2 kilos.
