About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an authentic, antique workbench, crafted from solid wood. The piece of furniture is characterized by its robust construction and distressed appearance, which add an industrial and historical character to any interior. Great as a kitchen island with a bar.
The workbench is entirely made of beautiful wood, testifying to traditional craftsmanship. The design includes a thick, solid worktop, a sturdy base, and a practical lower shelf for extra storage. The natural brown color of the wood is enriched with a deep patina developed through decades of use. One of the original vises is still present but is no longer in the same good condition.
The overall condition of the kitchen island is good, with a character consistent with its age and original function as a work piece. The visible signs of wear are an integral part of its aesthetic and contribute to the historical value of the object.
Due to its versatility, this workbench is excellent for use as a characterful kitchen island, a striking console table in a hallway or living room, or as a unique desk. The piece of furniture adds a rustic and industrial element to both modern and classic interiors.
Purchased in 2025 from Berta010, original price was 1295 euros.
