Product description
This antique Chinese wooden stool, also known as a saddle stool, is a characterful piece of furniture with a rich history. The design is characterized by a slightly curved, hand-formed seat and angled legs, giving it an authentic and timeless appearance.
Crafted from solid wood, this stool displays traditional wood joints, including a striking mortise and tenon joint. The dimensions are 49 cm in height, 44 cm in width, and 25 cm in depth.
The brown color and weathered texture emphasize the natural origins and craftsmanship of this object, presumably from the late 19th or early 20th century. The stool is in good, authentic condition.
The visible wear and discoloration contribute to the unique wabi-sabi aesthetic, where the imperfections enhance the character of the furniture.
