Antique Chinese wooden wedding cabinet, richly decorated with hand-carved and painted details in red, gold and warm wood tones. The cabinet features traditional Chinese scenes, intricate carvings and decorative panels throughout. Designed with double doors, several drawers and an elaborate openwork top. The cabinet shows signs of wear consistent with its age. Estimated to date from the first half of the 20th century, circa 1920–1950. A striking and highly decorative piece of traditional Chinese craftsmanship.
