About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an authentic antique Chinese cabinet, crafted from solid wood. The piece immediately stands out due to its unique construction and lived-in appearance, making it an object with a true story.
The cabinet is made with traditional techniques and has a dark, almost black lacquer layer that has worn away over the years, revealing underlying red and gold tones. The furniture offers ample storage space with two large doors and a series of nine small drawers at the bottom, each fitted with brass ring handles. The panel construction on the doors and top is characteristic of the Asian furniture style.
The overall condition is consistent with its age, with a rich and deep patina that contributes to its character. The wear is an integral part of the cabinet's charm and history. This piece of furniture is a statement piece that adds warmth and personality to an interior. It fits well in an eclectic or bohemian decor but can also form an interesting contrast in a more modern setting.
