A beautiful antique solid bronze statue of a goat and ram mounted on a rectangular marble base. This animal sculpture is in the style of the 19th-century French sculptor Pierre-Jules Mêne, known for his bronze animal sculptures. Unsigned, circa the first half of the 20th century.
The statue depicts a hunched or charging ram with prominent, curved horns. The statue symbolizes resilience, determination, and strength. It stands on a rectangular marble base with a striking veined pattern. The whole piece has a beautiful patina of age.
