Offered for sale: A beautiful, authentic antique vase of white opaline glass (also known as Bristol glass or milk glass).
This atmospheric piece dates from the late Victorian period (approx. 1880–1910) and is in very fine condition.
The vase is entirely mouth-blown and hand-decorated. The front features a refined miniature landscape with pine trees and a large, purple flower with tactile relief details (enamel).
The rim has a warm orange-brown gradient. On the underside, the characteristic, manually smoothed and polished pontil mark is visible—proof of artisanal glassblowing.
