Product description
Antique Biedermeier burr walnut secretaire/closet. The cabinet is in 2 colors of burr walnut veneer, has at the bottom 2 panel doors with a shelf behind. Above that a flap (lined with green felt) with inside several drawers and a large drawer, open compartments and a door with mirror. The flap is slightly angled down when open but is securely attached. There is also a drawer at the top under the top. So there is a lot of storage space in the cabinet. On the top drawer and the doors we put a knob (antique matching so not new) because the keys were missing. The doors close with a magnetic lock. The lock of the flap works properly. The cabinet has been completely cleaned and serviced in our workshop and is in clean condition with normal signs of use. The left back leg has veneer damage which has been repaired. The side panels have some cracks, quite normal for a cabinet like this.
Beautiful furniture with the typical Biedermeier accents and ornaments!
Sizes: W108 x D46/41/93 (with the flap open) x H164 cm. Height to the flap when open is 86 cm. and depth 56 cm.
