Product description
Charming antique four-panel pine screen, ideal for creating a cozy corner, decorating a wall, or adding a warm decorative touch to a bedroom, living room, or studio.
This pine screen has been fully and carefully restored:
- The wooden uprights have been repainted in a very elegant sage/olive green that highlights the design. The original hinges have been replaced with new ones to ensure smooth operation. The edges of the front panel are trimmed with a decorative bronze-colored braid.
- Upholstered in a superb vintage floral fabric from the renowned "Grand Teint Meuble" manufacturer (the term "Grand Teint" historically guarantees high colorfastness to washing and light, typical of fine textile productions from the mid-20th century, around the 1950s to 1970s). The fabric underwent a thorough cleaning before being hung.
Very good overall condition. The wood is antique and retains its charming imperfections and patina, which contribute to its unique character. Please note: there are a few rare and discreet old rust spots on the fabric (visible in the detail photos), which do not affect the overall appearance or durability.
Perfect for a country chic, English cottage, family home, or vintage-inspired decor.
Dimensions unfolded: 178 x 167.5 x 2.5 cm / Folded: 44 x 167.5 x 10.5 cm.
