Product description
For sale is a special historical piece from my grandfather's estate: a heavy, antique jewelry and storage box made of solid brass (non-magnetic).
The unstamped piece features classic 1920s Art Deco motifs – including plastically protruding female profiles with the iconic bob haircut, as well as stylized floral and geometric elements. Particularly noteworthy is the elaborately hand-punched background (pointillé technique), which strongly resembles traditional trench art from the interwar period and creates wonderful artisanal depth.

Condition: The casket shows a beautiful, authentic age patina. Please note: The key for the front lock is no longer present and the lid sits minimally crooked due to age and manufacturing (see detailed photos).
