Product description
A beautiful white 19th-century nursing chair upholstered in webbing, executed in Louis Seize style and from Dorset, England.
During the Victorian era (1837-1901), a nursing chair was characterized by its low seat and was partially upholstered or fitted with a loose cushion.
This chair was used for both infant care and breastfeeding.
The low seat allowed a mother, dressed in a tight corset, to easily handle her children without bending over.
Today it is an elegant and unique piece of furniture that fits perfectly into a stylish interior.
A beautiful eye-catcher in the living room, bedroom or nursery.
Equipped with a sand-colored upholstered cushion, the chair exudes sophistication.
Of course a chair of this age has signs of use but it also has an enormous charm, judge for yourself
Constructively 100% in good condition
