Product description
This antique méridienne (daybed) is a fantastic example of Victorian craftsmanship with Biedermeier influences. The graceful wooden frame is finished with refined carving in the central crest of the backrest. The bench stands on classically turned wooden legs, still equipped with the original brass wheels. The bench is upholstered with a deep blue, striped velour fabric that beautifully accentuates the forms of the furniture. The finish with decorative nails along the woodwork and the two included round bolster cushions complete the ensemble. Perfect as an eye-catcher in a classic living room, a modern eclectic seating area, a stylish hall, or a boutique hotel interior. The bench is in good condition. However, there are some signs of use: there is a small stain on the upholstery (clearly visible in the photos) and the wood shows some damage here and there.
