Product description
This is a set of two antique vases, crafted from tin in the distinctive style of the Art Nouveau period. The pieces stand out due to their organic forms and detailed, naturalistic reliefs, which are typical of the Jugendstil aesthetic.
The vases are made of tin and have a matte, silver-grey finish. Each vase is equipped with an inner brass liner. The decorations are rich and sculptural: one vase depicts a salamander climbing along foliage, while the other is adorned with a bird among reeds and a bunch of grapes. These motifs, inspired by nature, are an essential characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement around the turn of the last century.
The overall condition of the set is good, in accordance with its age. The tin has developed an authentic patina that contributes to the historical character of the objects. The original brass inner liners are present and show traces of time and use, confirming the authenticity of the vases.
