Product description
DESCRIPTION:
A beautiful Catholic processional lantern, also called a flambeau. Such a lantern is traditionally carried during Catholic processions or church services. But it can also be used in daily life or for decoration. The lantern has a wooden stick with a candle holder above it that can swing back and forth, keeping the candle upright. Around the candle is a thick glass tube, the rest of the construction is made of brass. Smoke and warm air can escape through the top. The candle can be easily replaced as shown in the photos.
DIMENSIONS:
Height: 156cm
Diameter: 13cm
CONDITION:
Good condition, light oxidation and the glass has a somewhat frayed edge, but this is common with such an object.
