About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an antique display cabinet, made of wood and dating from the early twentieth century. The piece of furniture is characterized by its clean lines and decorative details typical of the Art Deco or Amsterdam School period, making it an object with historical depth. The cabinet is made of oak wood with a warm, brown finish. Both the front door and the side panels are fitted with glass, giving it an open and light appearance. Inside, there are two glass shelves for displaying objects. Subtle details, such as the geometric carving on the top edge and uprights, and an etched star motif in the glass of the door, attest to the craftsmanship of that era. The furniture is in good, authentic condition consistent with its age. The wood has developed a characteristic patina over the years, which adds to the charm of the object. The construction is solid and the cabinet is completely original, including the fittings and the glass. This compact display cabinet is an elegant addition to various interior styles, from classic to eclectic. It is an ideal piece of furniture for displaying a collection, dinnerware, or books in a living room, hallway, or study.
