About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This earthenware pot with lid has an orange color and is decorated with decorative bands and animal heads on the sides. The pot shows discoloration, scratches, and cracks, especially on the lid and in the glaze on the inside. Slight signs of use.
This antique French terracotta pan is a beautiful example of traditional rural pottery from the early 20th century. Handmade from earthenware and finished with a warm honey-colored glaze, the pan features decorative lion head handles that give the piece its characteristic appearance.
Originally intended for slow cooking in a wood-fired oven, this pan has developed an attractive patina through decades of use. Today, it is a beautiful decorative object for a farmhouse kitchen, rustic interior, or collection of antique French pottery.
The cooking pot is still sturdy and looks beautiful. The lid has some old hairline cracks and chips, while the bottom has an old repaired crack visible from the inside. These age-related imperfections can be seen in the photos and are reflected in the asking price.
An authentic piece of French culinary history with plenty of rustic charm.
