About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
Authentic French glazed ceramic chimney pot featuring a striking combination of deep cobalt blue, olive green, and warm ochre glazes. Originally produced as an architectural element for a chimney or ventilation system, this decorative piece has developed a beautiful character through decades of outdoor exposure.
The octagonal body is crowned with a crown-shaped rim, giving the piece a distinctive sculptural appearance. The rich, hand-applied glazes create subtle variations in color and texture, while the unglazed interior and open base reflect its original architectural purpose.
Today, these antique chimney pots are highly sought after as decorative garden ornaments, planters, or showpieces in both traditional and contemporary interiors. The combination of bold colors and architectural form makes this a unique decorative object with timeless appeal.
A charming example of French architectural pottery that adds authentic character to any home or garden.
