Type cabinet
Characterful type cabinet from the 1920s. On the slanted top section, there are now three composing boards covering the 'rack'. The 'rack' is normally open, allowing the typographer to place one drawer diagonally on it for a clear view of the available letters to select for their composing board(s). The large drawers still have compartments, the small drawers do not.
A beautiful piece of industrial heritage!
