About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
An antique Chinese console table, crafted from a dark-colored wood.
The most striking detail is the square panels of light green jade incorporated on 2 sides of the table. An authentic Ogre mask is engraved on the jade.
The design testifies to traditional craftsmanship, with the clean, architectural lines characteristic of classic Asian furniture. No nails or screws were used in its manufacture.
The table is entirely made of wood and has a warm, brown finish that accentuates the grain of the material. The construction is open and airy, with geometric details and subtle carving at the base of the legs, giving the piece an elegant appearance.
The overall condition of the table is good with some signs of wear on the top. The construction is solid and the piece retains its original shape and aesthetic value.
This console table is a characterful accent piece for a hallway, entrance, or living room. Its slender profile makes it suitable for narrower spaces, where it can serve as an elegant surface for decorative objects or lighting. It fits well within both a classic and an eclectic interior with Asian influences.
