ProfessionalProduct description
This antique chest is painted blue with a dark wooden top and metal fittings. On the front, 'A.G.B.D. 1871' is painted. The chest shows wear to the paint, scratches, and dents, consistent with its age and use.
A beautiful antique wooden storage chest with an attractive deep blue lacquer finish, original iron fittings, and decorative hand-painted letters with the text “A.G.B.D. 1871”.
The chest has a wonderfully authentic appearance, with a naturally aged patina, traditional iron corner reinforcements, and sturdy carrying handles on both sides. The hinged wooden lid opens to a spacious interior with a small storage compartment.
This characterful antique chest dates from the 19th century and forms a unique showpiece in both rustic and contemporary interiors. Perfect as a blanket chest, decorative storage chest, or striking coffee table.
In good antique condition, with visible signs of age, wear, and use. The original lock is present, but the key is missing.
