Beautiful antique Swiss pocket watch in the elegant Galonné style, dating from approximately 1895 - 1905, the Art Nouveau / Belle Époque period. The case is made of 0.800 silver with refined gold edges and is hand-engraved with delicate floral motifs, bearing serial number 1622. The watch carries the Swiss silver hallmark (Capercaillie) and the German export control hallmark (Crown). The dial is white enamel with classic Roman numerals and is adorned with Golden Paillons (24k gold droplets). The gold-colored, graceful Louis XV hands with a heart shape complete the ensemble. Inside is a well-running gilded cylinder movement with pin-setting for time adjustment. The inner lid is marked "3 Metal" for reinforcement.
