Antique painting of a sailboat on rough seas, dating from around 1900. Beautiful oil on canvas depicting a San Francisco Pilot Schooner sailboat on rough seas, executed in a realistic, maritime style typical of that period. It is signed lower left, but unfortunately, the signature is unclear. The painting has been relined and cleaned in the past. The name Wilmart is inscribed on the back of the frame; whether it is related to the artist is unknown.
