An antique ceramic crockery set from the French manufacturer Longwy, known for its distinctive émaux technique. This crockery is a fine example of the manufacturer's craftsmanship, with a hand-painted decor on a craquelé glaze base.
The set consists of a teapot, a sugar bowl, a milk jug, a cup and saucer, and a matching tray. Each piece is made of fine earthenware and decorated with vibrant enamel colors. The palette is dominated by a deep cobalt blue for the rims and handles, combined with a cream-colored background and multicolored images of swallows, herons, insects, and floral motifs in a Japonisme-inspired style.
The overall condition is consistent with the age of the object. The craquelé effect is an intentional and characteristic part of the Longwy glaze and contributes to its authentic appearance. The hand-painted details ensure that no two pieces are exactly identical, emphasizing the uniqueness of the set.

Signs of wear:
The lid of the teapot has been broken and glued. Discoloration is visible in the crockery pieces. No serial numbers are visible except under the tray.
In my opinion, the colors of the images are still beautiful and vibrant!
