Description:
For sale: a beautiful and characterful antique oak double-desk (pedestal desk) from the early 20th century, with stylistic features from the Late Arts & Crafts / early Art Deco period. A unique piece of furniture with a warm, lived-in look that fits perfectly in both a classic and an eclectic modern interior.
The desk features three smoothly running drawers under the worktop, which is inlaid with a characteristic green writing surface. Behind the doors with beautiful geometric inlay work, there is surprisingly much storage space: on the left are the original wooden pull-out drawers and on the right a practical shelf. The original brass hardware completes the picture.
