Product description
This set of four Plia folding chairs was designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli in 1967. The design is an iconic example of Italian design from the late 1960s, where functionality and a minimalist aesthetic seamlessly come together. The chairs are crafted with a chrome-plated steel frame and seats and backrests made of transparent brown plexiglass. The ingenious hinge system, which allows the chair to fold completely flat, was a technical innovation at the time. The chairs bear the original brand markings in the frame, confirming their authenticity. The set is in good condition.
