Product description
A compelling diptych by Dutch artist Anneke Umbgrove, ‘Compositie Landschap’ (1998) exemplifies her contemplative approach to abstract composition. Rendered in acrylic on paper, these two works feature a carefully balanced arrangement of geometric forms and tonal contrasts. Deep blues anchor each piece, while accents of ochre, rust, and muted greens evoke a serene yet structured landscape—a hallmark of Umbgrove’s painterly vocabulary.
These paintings communicate beautifully as a diptych, inviting visual dialogue and offering a grounded, meditative presence. Umbgrove’s restrained yet expressive technique and architectural sense of space make these works especially appealing to collectors of post-war and contemporary European abstraction.
Each piece is professionally framed under glass with a brushed gold-tone frame and archival matting. Signed by the artist.
